Another year spent watching too much TV.

Woke up imagining how great it’d have been if offensive pass interference hadn’t been called on Amon Ra on the final play yesterday. Lions forever, baby. In a haunting way.

I can make a list of some of the music released this year I’ve enjoyed. No one can stop me. Dad rock (mostly) for everyone!

Movie you’ve watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Stars (Wars nor Trek), LOTR, or Marvel, Disney Animated or Pixar.

For years I thought this was a fake soundtrack for a movie that didn’t exist. But no, it does, and it’s hilariously bad.

“I was young, reckless, and in love. And then… I was DEAD, young, reckless, and in love.”

Young girl at the beach today, said to another in the water: “Be careful. I can’t save you, but I’ll dance on your grave. Not like that, not happy.”

Kinda in awe of kids these days.

Bought a few Curless records, years ago, from a guy who went to high school with my dad. But he wouldn’t sell me his copy of this one. Finally found a nice copy. “Down on the corner at Kelly’s getting stoned.”

Went and saw One Battle After Another last night. Gonna tell all my Fox News watching relatives they’ll love it, that it’s about ANTIFA’s war on Christmas.

Have a nice little weekend planned. Went out during lunch and bought some frozen pizzas. Stopped by the library and checked out a copy of Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrel. And splurged on a few new LPs from the local record store. John Coltrane’s Giant Steps from Rhino Reserve and the latest Big Thief.

I like to think Sting convinced him it was a good idea to do it solo on the piano.
Been watching the 40th anniversary of Live Aid on youtube. No day drinking this time, as during the original broadcast on MTV though. Even sober, Phil Collins looking into the camera while sitting at a piano when the drums should come in during In The Air Tonight was pretty funny.

Anyone wanna start a management consulting firm that focuses on the competitive advantages of human intelligence? Get ahead of the inevitable “AI” about face?

Just joshing. I’m allergic to management.

Thought popped up while I was meditating. “The ocean won’t give you back.”

OK then.
