Try explaining to someone outside the UK that this road, shared with walkers, cyclists and horse riders, legally has a 60mph speed limit. Madness, really.

I really dislike how science has started calling almost any fancy computational technique AI. 🧪

The framing of this entire article makes it sound like a benevolent AI independently made these drugs.

That is *pure fantasy*.

Instead: a team of scientists made a machine learning model for a study.

The damage Sonia Sodha has done by spewing hate from the Observer is incalculable. I feel it is worse than the Sun and Mail because she radicalised Observer readers who consider themselves liberal and gave them permission to be openly bigoted.

If you take nonviolent direct action, Labour will brand you a terrorist.

If you riot, and try to burn buildings down, Labour will listen to your legitimate concerns.

Take note, comrades

I saw an infographic a couple years ago about how to remove source identifiers from links and why it's important, but I can't find it again and too many people I know are sending me links with them so here's an infographic straight from the oven

IT’S FUCKING CHESS

What POSSIBLE advantage, even in the warped mind of a transphobe, could being transgender give you at chess? They’re so nakedly hateful they just can’t stand any trans person winning anything ever. Pathetic.

If you care about making buses in Glasgow better take 5 minutes to tell SPT you STRONGLY AGREE with all of their priorities for franchising.

There's a risk these will be watered down if the response isn't clear and overwhelming.

Yes, mistakes were made: repeatedly delaying the Bill and indulging transphobic backbenchers, after a clear promise to act as long ago as the 2016 election, allowed anti-trans prejudice to grow and fester.

If they'd legislated quickly, the sky would not have fallen in, and we'd all have moved on.
Humza Yousaf has said the way the SNP handled legislation that would have made it easier for people to switch gender was 'clearly a mistake'
