Sixty-five years ago today, the Greensboro Four sat at the lunch counter of the F. W. Woolworth Company store, asked to be served, and refused to leave when denied service. Others joined each day.

After 5 months of these sit-ins, Woolworth began serving Black customers. #BHM2025

There are people in jail for writing a $20 check that bounced and this guy continues to walk free.
Rudy Giuliani was held in contempt of court for failing to cooperate in the handover of $11 million of his personal assets to Georgia poll workers he falsely accused of helping to steal the 2020 presidential election. nyti.ms/40mT4CB

Hey @experian-us.bsky.social, the page seems broken; trying to edit accounts linked to Experian Boost. I click on my accounts, the page starts to load, goes dark and never recovered unless reloaded. Tried Safari, Firefox, Chrome on iOS. iPadOS and MacOS.

I want to leave X/Tw for @bsky.app but accounts journalists are still primarily using X/Tw all while complaining about how connected and blatantly biased.

Banks and nonbanks play game of loans like ‘Game of Thrones’, where every player has a different set of rules. In this realm, it’s not just about who sits on the Iron Throne, but who gets the best rates. And just like in Westeros, it’s the ordinary folks who need a dragon!

Is it possible to say which administration created the best policies that reduced wage wage gaps? For example, some administrations benefitted from residual changes made by their predecessor.
The Black/white wage differential stopped falling by 1980.

Since then, it rose from ~20% to ~24% in 2018.

It has fallen over the past 5 years, and stands under 16% today, an all time low.

The tight labor market has led to a historic reduction in racial wage disparities.
