There are a lot of legitimate reasons to be skeptical about trade and investment agreements stipulating labor rights obligations. However, one overlooked *benefit* of those agreements is that they create a platform for transnational labor solidarity. 1/2

Teaching 1L contracts has been SUCH a joy this Fall, but could not have done it w/o support from our Dean! Today's Brooklyn Bridge hypo brought her into the class, and the students had a lot of fun figuring out whether they could revoke before she crossed the bridge. 😂 @ugaschooloflaw.bsky.social
