I have a frenemy relationship with to do lists. Over the summer I purchased a Skylight calendar after hearing some friends give rave reviews on how it has helped organize their lives. Since I lack structure and organization on most days I figured why not give it a whirl. I eagerly set it up and developed to do lists for the kids and I.

In my early 30s I went back to school to become a nurse. I was very early into my journey of discovering who the actual "me" was inhabiting the body that I live in. I didn't know much about my boundaries, or things that I needed to feel good and whole, and I really didn't have goals other than ones that were presented to me as how life should work.

A life designed with intention is something I have spent a lifetime figuring out. When I was younger, and really up until my late twenties, I was a floater. I had no intention other than living in the moment and having fun. This was a beautiful way to live during those magical times of youth and discovery but as I grew older I could feel that something was missing.
