The LibDems should be the official opposition. Let's hope they can influence Starmer.

This morning I asked the Minister of State for Health Karin Smyth whether the £100mln promised to hospices by the govt will be additional money or will be eaten up by the extra NICs they now have to pay.
Sadly she didn’t want to sponsor me for the Strictly Rowcroft event I will be joining!

I agree with everything in this post apart from the apostrophe.
If the right wing press are going to react with outright hysteria when Starmer mutes even the smallest moves towards the EU Labour may as well come up with something more progressive and more in line with it's own supporters feelings on Europe.

Brexit – an unwelcome truth
Labour’s continued silence on Brexit might just reveal an unwelcome truth; another reason, perhaps, to use the Brexit telescope?

If the Tories did something very, very stupid and then Labour insisted on perpetuating it, at some point it stops being just a Tory problem.

Feels like we're getting there quickly with Brexit. The reset noises are like deciding to chuck a glass of water on a raging inferno - not a serious solution.

1.5 million houses in 5 years means more than 800 houses per day, 7 days a week.

800 x 365 (days) = 292,000
292,000 × 5 (years) = 1.46 million.

Impossible without foreign tradesmen/women.
