legitimately i think one of the core failings of centrist pundits is that they have come to define themselves by what they are against--to chart their intellectual course by who they think is being annoying this week--instead of by recourse to genuine principle

the reality is that they have already won & they do not want to change anything. they want a strong republican party, as they say often. the only time they put any work in is to sabotage candidates running to the left of them, otherwise they just sit around doing insider trading

Democrats just hate their constituents. Despise them to their very core for existing and expecting anything of them. If you can’t give them untold money, they want you dead.
