Decided I need to stay away from information for a bit so I started watching Gundam Witch from Mercury. After the prologue I am super hooked. The sound design is beyond awesome.

The utter ridiculousness of the modern student cannot be overstated. Gave open note assessment. Kid will not use notes and failed test. Given an opportunity to retake and told to use notes this time. Still does not get out notes and failed again. This is what teachers are dealing with.

Not sure what it says about me but I will always choose a female character if I have the option. My time is so limited at this stage that if the game doesn't have the option there is a good chance I wont even play it.

Played Hansa Tutonica again tonight. Still an awesome tabby but of school Euro. So much more game than so many modern ones. Tabby simple rules are the best.

One of the things I love about my new science curriculum this year. Its almost no technology. I tried to encorporate more tech the last few years because it was expected. It made everything worse. Worse turn in rates, worse engagement, worse everything.

Whenever I encounter someoen on or off line that says something about I didnt like school or school didnt work for me because I didnt get to do only what I wanted my opinion of them plumets. The point of school wasnt about you it was about society being better with educated people.

Looked at Arkwraight Anniversery Edition and the changes. This is falling into the same category that Tinners trail and Polis did. They rounded off corners so nope Ill keep the old version with actual character.

Welp been meaning to get Endurance for awhile and I love Persuasion so this was an easy yes. Check them out and order some truly unique games.

One thing I am quikly coming to the conclusion to is that with more and more AI and the inability for young people to understand how to use that to help them rather than use it to be lazy and avoid work that computer based anything and multiday projects where they can work on it beyond.....

One of the things I hate about education unions in my state is teachers can refuse to join but still get the same contract as the ones in the Union. They should have to do their own negotiations and deal with whatever they get.

You know my teacher training was pretty good about warning me how hard managing kids would be. It did not prepare me for how would crushing professional development usually is.
