Yes! No child should go hungry - we are, as a rule, a generous nation and charities do so much to support those in need but at last the Govt is helping to feed the children and I am thankful for that. A big change from the last self-serving Govt.

on Facebook... Well off friends who claim to be Christians, contribute to food banks and help with local groups who are less fortunate, are complaining about having to pay extra tax, and calling people scrivers and scam artists wish they would chat to people rather than just try to sound/look good

Reading a lot of reviews regarding Chris Masons comments on the BBC, surely you have failed as a journalist if no one is commenting on what's being reported but only on how biased the reporter is?

I met my MP this morning at an open forum and he pointed out something very interesting which l agree with.... Many businesses are underpaying/ offering reduced contract hours to their staff and the government is subsidising the wages of these people to meet the shortfall,

2 weeks ago HMRC informed me that l was due a rebate (didn't work for a few months, did not claim benefits) l received it 2 days later 🥳 today l got a letter from HMRC stating l owed them tax because l received a rebate... Our wonderful tax system 🥴
