Netanyahu:

"Would a country committing genocide plead with the civilian population that it is supposedly targeting to get out of harms way? Did the Nazis ask the Jews to leave? Of course not"

Actually, encouraging Jews to emigrate is exactly what the Nazis did 1933-39.

Ignorant of Jewish history.

freedom of speech in universities, even as they struggled to cite many examples of it being suppressed?

I’m not keen on the framing of this story, which veers at least close to blaming Rayner for not reporting the messages about herself in 2022. Let’s not pretend that for women reporting sexist abuse about yourself is some kind of risk free exercise

My family were homeless when I was a baby and I received life changing injuries as a result of the accommodation we were living in. It is a national scandal that the situation for homeless families is even worse now. Build more social housing now!
Shocking new data on the deaths of children linked to temporary accommodation. Unthinkable and avoidable suffering. My quote in pic, full story (£) here:

Important report by Public Accounts Committee highlights the incongruence of continuing to spend billions on temporary accommodation and Local Housing Allowance instead of actually preventing homelessness by investing in social homes. Big tick ✅ ⬇️

There is something hugely revealing in the rage that her kindness has provoked. A real “HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME LOOK AT MYSELF?” vibe. And something immensely powerful in her continuing to show them up, by insisting on being kind. A beam of light piercing through. Great interview, @maddow.msnbc.com.
Incredible from Bishop Budde: "We don't have to go to the highest extremes of contempt when we are in a position of disagreement. I think if we could get that back as a country, we would go a long way in being able to work together to address the many problems that we face." ~AA @maddow.msnbc.com
