Anytime you see a number that large and they claim it is world-based their methodology and their weighting factors are very important. This could be statistically relevant, it could also be apocryphal.

Not going to see that all day tomorrow.

Because CH4 and N2O share frequency range, their effectiveness has to be periodically recalculated: as of 2025 Each molecule of CH4 has the forcing equivalence of 36.78 molecules of CO2. For N2O its 270 times CO2's effective forcing.

One of my favorites, met her very briefly once in LL Bean, she's got a wonderful quirky sense of humor in her work.

There are many insects with crashing populations, the insect world is filled with specialists & generalists- they have huge populations, the specialists may only survive in a small region occupying a small niche.

AI is an excuse to try to eliminate as many workers as possible but the problem is most people still work in services and robots are decades if not centuries away from replacing most labor.
AI is a long, long way from being beneficial instead of a waste of resources.

Then what's to stop anyone warning the target in advance of the strike?

Oh God... If they find the rare immune bird, what will they do then, turn our entire flock into a monocolony (which will take decades) and reduce genetic diversity?

I love lettuce mixes but the problem sometimes is, you find you really love one varietal and then you have to go on a quest to find which one!
For us it was Black Seeded Simpson lettuce and a brassica mustard (in a lettuce pack!) called Tatsoi.

In my lab we used 3M tape to affix aluminum panels to extruded aluminum struts, lasted forever outdoors in all weather conditions.
But they weren't driving on roads, hitting potholes, feeling vibrations... they didn't use sufficient testing, this is a design failure.

Mohonk?
Practically in my backyard, one of my favorite country roads is US55/44 than runs through it, it's a stunning park but one I don't do frequently because it's private.

If you've got large windows, put removable clear stickers on them to break up the pattern, making it easier for birds to identify they're not the rising or setting sun. Building and window strikes are the most common cause of bird deaths during migration.

His recent actions clearly show a lack of honesty, integrity, intelligence, or sympathy towards any other people, and if he were a real man, he would have avoided that sales pitch yesterday at the White House, but he's not all there...
It's okay to hate him, he hates us.
