the fact that Lucasfilm was setting up the origins of the Knights of Ren in the Acolyte, and they announced the Rey movie while secretly working on #TheHuntforBenSolo, makes it seem like they were all in on developing the sequel trilogy characters before Iger ruined everything

Burns, but out of an abundance of reporterly caution, I didn’t go forward with the story. This week, Driver himself revealed the project’s existence in an Associated Press interview, confirming that he and Soderbergh had worked on a “Star Wars” movie that never came to fruition.
