Perfect example of every vote matters. The Quebec riding of Terrebonne flips to the Liberals after official judicial recount where the riding was won by just 1 vote. That's right, 1 vote, it indeed made a difference.

For anyone looking to #BuyCanadian in response to the US administration attacking us, if you're looking for a nice set of pot & pans, consider looking at Meyer's Confederation, SuperSteel & ProClad line. They're made in #PEI & they're the last manufacturer that makes cookware in #Canada.

Last Wednesday evening Kris Nova had a climbing accident and died.

All of us that loved her are heart broken and stunned.  She was an amazing person that lived out loud and built connection and community wherever she went.  She will be horribly missed.

X creator monetization requires users signup for X Premium (fka Twitter Blue)

yet from 7/1 to 8/10, X Premium subscriptions grew by only 94k users

37% of all approx 827k+ X Premium subscribers don't even hit the 500 follower eligibility for monetization
Elon Musk's creator monetization program fails to convince many to pay for X Premium
X / Twitter is going all in on creator monetization. But it seems not too many have signed up to be eligibile.

Oh man, it's been 20 years since that major Blackout in North America? Who remembers when this happened?

Even without electricity, there were still fun things to do including a night walk in the neighbourhood w/out power & seeing the stars so clearly because there's no light pollution.
Today in 2003, a massive power outage hit Ontario & parts of the Northeastern & Midwestern United States. The power remained out for hours for some, days for others. About 55 million people lost power. The outage was caused by a software bug in a control room alarm system in Ohio.

Doug Ford promised during the last election that he will not touch the #Greenbelt when it last caused an uproar. Now under the guise of the housing crisis is doing exactly what he promised to developers, by opening it up.

Paving the Greenbelt has always been about benefiting the Developers who supported the Premier. Any potential benefit for Ontarians has always been just a side-effect.

I think many already knows that Elon Musk offering an "unlimited defense fund" is bullshit just to attract attention. For someone who hates paying for things, he sure likes offering money he isn't willing to part with...

There's apparently now an option to hide it...
