I figured this was coming.
US government is now threatening to revoke trans passports.
It was nice having correctly gendered ID while it lasted!
7. The most likely targets would be passports with X markers and those who updated their documents through the affidavit process—a temporary pathway that allowed transgender people to obtain corrected passports if they signed a sworn statement attesting to their gender identity.

One of the best things about being a monastic is the amount of kindness I get to witness.
Even then, I am sometimes surprised with how someone will go out of their way to be helpful and kind.

When cattle ford a river,
if the bull goes off course,
they all go off course,
because their leader is off course.
So it is for humans:
when the one deemed chief
behaves badly,
what do you expect the rest to do?
The whole country sleeps badly,
when the king is unprincipled.
