So I was recently offered a Prime free trial and I took it up to save on shipping for some work purchases.
Now, the concerning thing is in Prime video, they have those stupid ads in program right?
A huge number of these are govt ads. So far I've seen state and federal govt ads and also ABC.

The problem here, one that I flagged over a decade ago, is that contractors and vendors who are 'on the good Govt list' as suppliers charge extortionate amounts for their services.
And then you have as-a-service providers (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft), integrations with huge licensing costs.
