University researchers have gotten quite good at figuring out why climate change is happening, why poor people suffer worse health, and myriad other ways in a small number of rich people make everyone else’s lives worse.

Of course, the propagandists want to shut us up by calling this “victimhood”.
Many U.S. universities embody “a culture of victimhood — a glorification of victimhood — that is ultimately bad for Western civilization and bad for the country,” May Mailman says to Ross Douthat on this episode of “Interesting Times.”

Am I wrong to think now is the time for mass walkouts and strikes at the companies and institutions firing people over protected political speech?

Seems like if there's no hard, disruptive cost to the purges, they'll just keep happening in dribs and drabs until no one is left.

Here is a great interview with a radio station the Hortman family listened to growing up. Their kids tell stories about their parents' favorite artists and songs, how the couple met, etc.

I'm starting a blog! I've recently begun working as a teaching professor at Stonehill College. As an exercise, I'm writing posts focused on teaching science, biology, and possibly some game design. If you are a student of mine, or interested in pedagogical conversations happening now, take a look!

After two presidential administrations of social media abstention, I have decided to rejoin a platform. This is partially in response to the current political climate, partially a response to beginning to enter the workforce, and partially a desire to share my dorky achievements with the world.
