i saw a box at work that said "extra heavy full length spoon" and ever since then that's kinda what this drawing is called in my mind tbh. anyways. drawing of motomi and shiki going to bed (as i should probably do now, hello 1:30am where did you come from and why do i have to wake up for work in less than 3 hours gaahh) and shiki curled along motomis back probably as close as humanly possible. his arms are tightly wrapped around motomis chest and his face buried in his shoulder as shiki lightly snores. motomi smiles real small as he casts a look behind him

shiki leans down to grab motomis glasses off his face asking(?) "whats this". motomi replies "my glasses? ...please be careful.."

shiki examines the glasses. thinking out loud "but you didnt have glasses in toshima?" motomi, offscreen, replies "i did. the first week i was there... and then they were pulverized..."

shiki ponders the glasses a moment more before putting them on his own face. they make his eyes look huge, taking up the entire space of the lenses, with his eyelashes sticking out the bottom. still offsccreen, motomi wheezes a laugh at the sight.

familiarity, routine, proximity; something shifting #togainunochi

motomi and shiki examine a large spread of notes, documents, and photos -- presumably in relation to nano -- spread across an altar or table in the church. also on the table are a burning candle and a smoking ashtray. shiki is leaning over the table in the middle of speaking, as motomi approaches him, holding one steaming mug and sliding a second one in shiki's direction. shiki, still focused on the table, reaches out to take the cup as he continues speaking.

[2] shiki, backlit by the candle, raises the mug to his lips as he speaks, his words fading out as motomis eyes linger
[3] motomi quickly pulls his eyes away with a blush, drinking from his mug as distraction from his thoughts
[4] as motomi -- still with lingering blush across his cheeks -- starts to speak, shiki regards him over the rim of his own mug, not with the same fluster as motomi but more with a slow and deliberate contemplation. as shiki's gaze remains fixed, slowly, motomis words fade out.
