If you ever wanted an example of how different life can between living in a city and living in a rural area, I have spent a grand total of $0 in my life on Door Dash, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, whatever. Ditto for Uber/Lyft. I’ve only ever been in an Uber once when a friend paid.
Meanwhile, on X the everything app, people are admitting to spending 1/3 of the US median household income on taxis for their mall-parking-lot-restaurant food.

This is just a good idea.

Guess I’ll do this too.

I ran into Grady Sizemore in Chicago '08 or '09 ish when they were in town to play the White Sox. He was carrying a banana. I asked him for his autograph and he said "Sure, but only if you'll hold my banana". So I awkwardly held his banana as he signed a scrap of paper I had in my bag. Good guy!
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

My wife is always wanting to go to England in mid-July so I feel this.
Wouldn't do this in a million years

Why are the Cards & Tigers sharing a postgame show? Is this normal? I admittedly don't stick around for the postgame show very often.

That was a dime from Pages.

What a bizarre inning for Roycroft.
Pitch 1: Triple
Pitch 2: Single (RBI)
Pitch 3: Fly out
Pitch 4: Ball
Pitch 5: Lineout
Pitch 6: Ball
Pitch 7: Strike, runner thrown out at 2nd.

This may be a boomer take, but I wish the Cards would go back to requiring cleats be mostly red. It makes the whole uni so much sharper.

Ivan Herrera can flat out hit.

Slam-dunk team legend and a "walk right in" guy for the Cards HOF. With Waino's injury troubles and Yadi's career stretching back into the OO's, I don't think its crazy to consider 2010-2020 "the Matt Carpenter era" in STL.
Matt Carpenter has announced his retirement after 14 seasons in Major League Baseball.

The fact that the Cardinals, who used Yadier Molina behind the dish almost exclusively for almost 20 years, now carry four catchers on their roster is endlessly hilarious to me.

The blue hats are are just so much better on the road than the red hats. Why are we still doing this.

I am as irrationally excited about Vic Scott as I have been about any Cardinal in a long, long time.

Not necessarily a “hero” but was eating brunch with the fam in Cincy one time when the Cards were in town. Mike Shannon walked by and stopped when he saw our Cards gear. Talked our ear off, signed a bunch of stuff & happily took a ton of pics. He could not have been more warm and friendly.
Screw "never meeting your heroes." What were some times you met your heroes and they were super cool?
