In 2014, Anita Sarkeesian canceled an event at Utah State after a credible assassination threat because the school’s response was that Utah allows guns on college campuses.

People have warned about this kind of violence for years. But they weren’t the people the powers at be wanted to protect.

If we stop calling them "tariffs" and start calling them "import taxes," Americans will understand what's going and how they're getting screwed. These are crippling taxes that Trump has imposed on American citizens for no clear reason. People will understand this if we use common words.

Stop the Musk-Trump dismantling. Use all tools. No more business as usual
Text SIGN PIXLNN to 50409 — Hold Musk accountable. Start to use all your tools to block the coup. I am shocked at the speed, damage, and suffering caused by Trump and Musk's illegal cuts, firings and dismantling. As you know, the courts are putting the brakes on and demanding that some fired federal workers be rehired and some appropriated funds be spent as Congress determined. Now the CR you just approved takes the brakes off Trump and Musk and allows them to continue with reversals to promised funding. It's full of damage to our lives and health and essential agencies. To accede to this CR, as Congress has done, is a shocking example of willing compliance with tyranny. The GOP have failed in the duty and the senate democrats will face a new unstoppable groundswell of popular rage. While I understand that this was a complicated decision and some felt interrupting ongoing legal cases was a risk too great, it is still alarming that Congress has failed to uphold its oath to the constitution and to protect its constitutional role from usurpation. I therefore ask you to now use ALL the tools at your disposal -- in both chambers -- to put the brakes on. NO MORE UNANIMOUS CONSENT, Senators. Use the filibuster. Use quorum calls. NO MORE approving damaging unqualified nominees. In the house, block bad bills. Use questions and speeches to expose the illegality, damage, and lies of King Trump and FElon Musk. Make criminal and judicial referrals. Stop bringing Roberts Rules of Order to a knife fight.

Stop Musk NOW. Hands off social security & Medicare. Legislate protection.
Text SIGN PMPUPB to 50409 — Get Musk and his illegal squad of digital terrorists out of Social Security NOW, no matter what it takes. Do this now, before they have caused damage beyond repair. You have constituents who depend on social security for their livelihood and lives. Sacking staff and closing offices will disrupt payments; it will bring chaos and misery, even death. We all know that social security is an entitlement. We pay in now, it pays out later. It is our money. Speak out against the damaging lies claiming waste and fraud in the system. Trump's lies about it in Congress last week were wicked and malicious. They need countering now. So do Musk's ketamine-fuelled fabrications. The GOP budget plan to cut millions from social security in order to subsidise tax cuts for billionaires is morally indefensible. It is evil. And we the people will NOT stand for it. Are the Republicans trying to let the system get wrecked beyond repair in order to fund those cuts? It sure looks like that. But you haven't fooled us. You work for us, you serve us. We did not elect Elon Musk. His actions are cruel, incompetent, criminal and unconstitutional. We demand that you protect social security. First, get Musk out of the social security administration NOW. Summon him to Congress with a subpoena. Use all the tools available to you: civil and criminal referrals. Inquiries. Pronto. Stat. You must support the bill: Protect Social Security and Medicare Act sponsored by Mark Pocan, Lloyd Doggett and Maxwell Frost. Please reply to me to acknowledge receipt of this letter and to tell me what actions you will be taking to rein in Musk, to restore and protect social security.

🖋️ “Urgent Opposition to Federal Grant and Loan Payment Suspension” hit 250 signers!
Urgent Opposition to Federal Grant and Loan Payment Suspension
Stop this cruel and illegal action that will hurt Americans and crash our economy! I am writing to express my deep concern and opposition to the Trump administration’s decision to temporarily suspend federal grant, loan, and financial assistance payments, as outlined in the recent memorandum from the Office of Management and Budget. This action, effective January 28, 2025, is both unprecedented and deeply alarming. The suspension of these funds—essential for education, healthcare, infrastructure, and countless other critical programs—will have devastating consequences for our nation’s economy and the daily lives of Americans. From small businesses and nonprofit organizations to local governments and public schools, this pause will harm the very fabric of our communities. Moreover, this action raises serious legal concerns regarding the separation of powers. Congress has the sole authority to allocate federal funding, and the executive branch’s unilateral decision to pause disbursements undermines the democratic process and may violate statutory and constitutional mandates. I urge you to take immediate action to: 1. Demand that the Office of Management and Budget reverse this decision and resume all federal payments. 2. Ensure that Congress and federal agencies uphold their constitutional responsibilities to allocate and distribute resources as mandated by law. 3. Provide assurances to the American people that essential programs will not be disrupted for political purposes. As your constituent, I ask that you prioritize protecting the integrity of our government, the well-being of Americans, and the rule of law. Please let me know how you intend to address this critical issue.
