I went to see Shirley Valentine with C and a mate of hers. When he throws the dinner at her early in the film I've never forgotten that collective quiet groan that many women in the audience made. It was the groan of recognition and solidarity. That film had levels. RIP Pauline Collins.

Trump says he's sending the National Guard to crime-ridden "hellholes," but homicide rates across major cities have been falling.

In Portland, murders were down 39%.

In Chicago, they were down 22%.

Trump's deployments are about authoritarian control, not "law and order."

No one needs to "prove" MAGA attacks on protests wrong; they are wrong. Nonviolence should be the chosen path in principle, not as an attempt to appease MAGA critics who will surely find another excuse to smear the protesters, regardless of what they do.

#Taxonomy is *very* collaborative, this is authorship of the stonefly family Perlidae. The Sankey viz illustrates the connection between authors as defined by both being involved in the authorship of a TaxonName. Dynamic report coming to TW soon.
