The fact that so many of the members of Congress who voted to ban TikTok turned around and bought Meta stock is so icky. It’s infuriating. It’s disgusting, and it’s going to radicalize a lot of people. They are killing people’s livelihood and businesses and they are going to reap a whirlwind.

It's astonishing that 'woke' is something to be looked down upon by the right. Literally, it's empathy for others. I am proud of that. I'll always try to look at life through other people's eyes, even if it doesn't personally affect me. That's what being a good human being is all about: compassion.

My heart is broken. Mostly I've been angry lately, but today I'm just very very sad.
We are losing everything that makes America great and replacing it with hate and stupidity.

If you do know anyone who works for Meta/FB, do not attack them. Instead, help them get a job with a company that doesn’t hate LGBTQ ppl. There’s already talk that FB will not be allowed take part in Dublin Pride [they use it for marketing & claiming to be LGBTQ ‘friendly’]. Dublin is their Euro HQ
