Imma talk about Horror and books a lot. Kevin Smith will be brought up constantly.
The first half of this book sets up the second half in such a masterful way that you have no idea how the pieces are going to come together until they all start to mesh. I'm about 300 pages in to this at this point. This book is absolutely stomach churning.
I'm working some Stephen King in to the mix now with Doctor Sleep. I got 175 pages in to this a while back and had it stolen from me weirdly enough. Grabbed a copy from the library a couple hours ago and immediately got sucked back in. This is just a very well written book.

Reading through this series and just downloaded The Wide Window on Ebook. I had forgotten certain details about this series that the movie and TV series leave out. The onscreen adaptations never really capture just how diabolical Count Olaf truly is.

Finished this one this morning. I'm absolutely loving reliving this series. In a weird way it's like little achievements reading through each of these. So far they aren't even 100 pages each and I'm on the 3rd one lol
I finished the first book of this series the other day. It was actually the first Ebook I've ever finished. I'm having such a great time reliving this series as an adult. Currently working my way through the second book in between everything else I've been reading.

I'm still in season 2 of Being Human. Honestly, half these storylines are trash AF. I'm just hanging in for season 3 to hopefully be a little better.

These are both two books that I put down at some point in the last few months for no apparent reason. I'm tackling It Starts With Us On Ebook now and I grabbed a physical copy of Doctor Sleep from the library.

Finished this one today! If you haven't read Winter's Bone I implore you to drop what you're doing and read this! Just absolutely batshit crazy from start to finish.
This has been the book at the top of my priority list the past couple of days. It's like being dropped in the middle of the mountains following some lady who has the most insane family drama imaginable. Absolutely engrossing. Just a very intelligently written story about survival.

An honorable mention that I'm also working my way through at the moment. I have like 60 pages left of this one. I downloaded the Ebook the other day and am trying to finish it up. It's been a haphazard process getting through this one that has nothing to do with the writing itself.

I don't know why it took me so long to just download Everything And Nothing but, I finally downloaded the Nook app and it's available on there for free. Looking forward to burning through this novella tonight. It's only like 40 pages but, it should scratch the itch for now.

I'd be counting the days down if I had any idea when this book is going to come in🪓🫠 It's literally the last book in the series and I have to wait for it😭Worth every gosh darn second🧟‍♀️🖤

A couple randomish books I'm reading. I finished The Bad Beginning this morning and started The Reptile Room on ebook (addicted). I saw Winter's Bone on a display and remembered liking the movie. I've zoomed through this book. What a crazy good find.

I wonder if anyone has ever actually stopped reading this book at this point?

Just finished this one this morning. I expected this to be some hollow zombie romance bs, but it turned out to have so much more commentary on the human condition and how we just stop growing at a certain point. For 230 pages this book packs so much humanity in to its tightly edited pages🧟‍♀️🖤
Reading Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion now after reading 5 David Moody novels back to back and it feels like a rebound relationship tbh🧟‍♂️🖤🧟‍♀️ I'm sure this book is incredible though lol

When I start collecting books it will only be books with black hard covers and you can thank @gillianflynn.bsky.social for that.
