It's pretty wild. I feel like virtually every star at the Post is leaving. I'm sure there are people I'm missing. But I'm really not exaggerating. They've chased/induced virtually everyone out. I really can't think of ANY example remotely like it.

Of all the terrible sign posts in the last week, this is the worst.
Trump has sued news outlets over their coverage of his campaign - frivolous suits everyone could see had zero merit.
Now the media owners are using "settlements" to funnel cash straight to Trump in the hope they will get favourable treatment from federal regulators.

Another thing bothering me about the Zuckerberg statement -- the assertion that fact-checkers have “destroyed more trust than they created." FCers are obviously imperfect and have made mistakes, but most of what people hear about them is ax-grinding by conservative elites, not fair-minded critiques
