John Fetterman, Angus King, Maggie Hassan, Dick Durbin, Jon Ossoff, Jeanne Shaheen, Kirsten Gillibrand, Catherine Cortez Masto, Mark Warner, Cory Booker, and of course Chuck Schumer. Maybe others not top of mind. Not all responsible will publicly vote for the cave - that's not how this works.

Loevy plays a video of a woman's arrest. Hewson says the woman was "assaultive" because she kicked a can of tear gas that had been deployed.

Loevy: "When you tear gas somebody … and they try to kick the tear gas canister away from them, that's assaulting?"

Hewson: "Yes."

Imagining the Chron editors on this one:
Editor 1: “We need to direct the energy of Zohran’s win toward politicians that appease fascists and carry water for billionaires”
Editor 2: “and for consistency, we need to belittle Zohran and try to paint him as unrealistic”
Emily Hoevan: “I have an idea”

And it’s like the author doesn’t even know the basic facts. She writes, “perhaps most crucially, both are political outsiders.” Zohran was a state legislator. Lurie had never held political office.

Another gem: “Understandably, many Dems have reservations about Mamdani. How [he] plans to achieve his wildly ambitious ideas remains unclear—and whether those ideas should be implemented is another thing. But Mamdani does represent the future of the Democratic Party. And so does someone like Lurie”

This one is so bad, even for the Chron. Embarrassing really
