It actually goes deeper. Given how many autistic kids rely on Medicaid, there is a huge risk right now that #ActuallyAutistic kids who are citizens but have mixed-status parents might not get screened because their parents fear deportation or separation.
Emmanuel, a 15-year-old with intellectual disabilities, wandered away from his mom’s fruit stand in October.

She reported him missing to Houston police. But instead of reuniting them, the city turned him over to ICE.

“They’re failing all of us,” his mom said.

I've spent the last decade writing about autism and saying politicians should stop talking about vaccines. When my book came out, it felt like politics was moving there. But I feel like my life's work has been completely erased by RFK Jr., Trump and Bill Cassidy. I feel completely disoriented.

Mike Johnson is falsely generalizing the “No Kings” protestors as extremists to justify crackdowns. The truth is, they’re patriots.

These protestors don’t “hate America.” They oppose an authoritarian president who tramples on the freedoms and principles America was founded on.

RFK Jr. Isn’t saying whether circumcision does. He’s just giving us a tip about it.
Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."
