Ironic the crowd that screams migrants cost this country millions in entitlements is silent at the proposed $45 billion for ICE/migrant detention centers. Funds literally coming from cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, CDC. I guess spending the money is fine as long as it isn't used to help anyone...??

The spin on Medicaid cuts w/ tax breaks is that it's going to provide private sector jobs with better pay & insurance. Cutting Medicaid is GOOD. Not sure how 2/3s of nursing home residents are going to find gravy jobs with insurance to cover their care but people will believe it. Tragic.

If all other federal employees are at risk, and the information of the American public has been handed over, why should GOP led Congress feel all safe and secure in their paychecks for the next 2 years?
I had another random thought. If Musk is doing the job of Congress by deciding how to spend taxpayer dollars, does that mean Congress can also be eliminated? More cost savings on salaries, bennies, and travel? If they are surprised by what Musk is finding isn't it a reflection of their own failures?

Correct my math and understanding if I am wrong, please. If USAID spending is just under one percent of the US budget, cutting it is the same savings as just under a penny out of a dollar. Is that accurate??

I hate the horrible mid air tragedy that happened last night is most likely going to turn political. Not that there shouldn't be accountability if there is political factors contributing, but the idea of all of those lives lost used to further an agenda or as propaganda for the cult makes me ill.
