According to Star Trek canon, MLB folds in 2042. So let’s enjoy baseball while we can.

This hire looks better and better.

So far, Nationals are having a perfect offseason.

As an American, I don’t get to say this very often these days…but I’m so goddamn proud of us.

Kotaku was once arguably the best video game news/review site on the internet and it’s pathetic what it’s become. It’s not so much the constant hawking. It’s the hyperbole on steroids that fucking sucks: “Costs pennies” = $18. “Nearly free” = $245.

Look out, Washington Post. This is your future.

In the span of 15 minutes, I returned dropped gloves to two different women.

Age yourself with gaming.

Literally the last state in the country where you want drivers being distracted by something.

I hope the Giants never stop making hype videos for guys they end up firing three years later.

Don’t look now, but we might have come full-circle on that tweet everyone makes fun of that predicted the Nationals were the closest Washington team to contention.

We’ll know Elon was triggered when he starts posting photos of himself looking like this to show that he cares about sports just like other human beings.

Time is a flat circle. Some of you people should skip the monologues when stand-up comics host SNL.

Maybe Timothée Chalamet taking questions from the audience or Jon Hamm making a surprise cameo is just more your speed, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I just checked and you can buy one on eBay for $80.

Come on, people. Work with me a little on this. Your time and your dignity are each worth more than $80.

Yes! You reading this right now! Even yours!

It’s early and I lean more toward Pritzker just based on personality. But the last Dem presidential candidate I can think of who clearly *wanted* it this much and was actually willing to put the effort, (i.e., not Hillary) was Obama.

Pritzker, Newsom, Shapiro…actually a really great 2028 bench.

I’ll be the first to admit that cosplay is outside of my geek wheelhouse. But I don’t understand how Sleeping Beauty beats Steampunk Xenomorph.

Like, one costume obviously took a lot of time and effort and money and imagination to put together, and the other is…a dress.

We’re back, baby!

I guess we’re just feeding the “AJ Preller’s a crazy dude! He’s playing chess when everyone else is playing checkers!” narrative?

How is Stammen more shocking than the Giants’ unprecedented hiring of a college coach with no MLB experience or the Nationals hiring MLB’s youngest manager in 50 years?

Third season of Owning Manhattan is going to be incredible.

Ryan: I thought we had a deal.

Kelsey: We did, Ryan. But a hundred penthouse apartments just came on the market at rock bottom prices. There won’t be a single billionaire left in New York by next week. What’s your client’s best and final?

If I’m working in the promotions department at Nats Park and I’ve been told to boost ticket sales or else, I’m crossing Mitchell Parker Bobblehead Night and Hawaiian Shirt Day off my tentative 2026 calendar and leaning hard into non-sports card giveaways.

I realize that bedwetting is the Democratic Party’s default position. But what are they worried about? That Mamdani is going to clone himself and have them run in competitive congressional districts next year?

I think pretty much everyone recognizes the fact that this is a NYC-only phenomenon.

Wow. The Trump Kennedy Center is getting all the hot shows.
November 4, 2025 at 11:26 PM
I never watched Damages, although it’s been on my to-do list for over a decade. But I remember at the time a lot of people being like “Holy shit, they got Glenn Close to do a TV show?!”

Now she’s the fifth lead on a Kim Kardashian legal drama described as “existentially terrible.”

Weird business.

35 years after Pat Reilly left LA, he’s going to squeeze even more money out of that city once the Dodgers start selling three-peat merch.
