I think it's important to keep the nuance in mind. I totally get the idea of letting the suffering of Americans put pressure on Republicans to extend ACA subsidies. I also get that means we condone the suffering of Americans.

Most important: We must win 2026.

It wasn't the Senators who were suffering. They were concerned about the people in their States who were suffering. I honestly don't know if that's proper or not. And I don't know if waiting longer would have changed Republican minds.

You are correct, and it's a valid point. I was making a different point, which is that creationism = science denialism. I accept your view (a perfectly valid one) that there may be more effective ways to make the point I wanted to make. 👊
