No to bullies & fascists under any flag
Some times you think "That would be a great photo. Too bad I'm in such a hurry." Then you stop, turn around and take the shot after all. You never regret it.

Scary place. Bike gangs near Capitol Hill.

Sure enough.

We have both our Not for Sale signs hanging over the front porch.
Ukraine being equally Not for Sale.

Too many lives lost. Too much pain and sorrow.
We remember.
We must resist.
Fascism = evil.

80 years ago, a Cdn general accepted the surrender of the 25th German Army in the Netherlands.
I visited many sites on my 2024 Europe tour that remind us:
Freedom & democracy are precious & easily lost.
"Strong men" w/ simplistic answers & no morals are bad.
Don't wait to stop them getting power.

If new bicycles have become way more expensive (or simply not available) in N. America, thanks to the insane tariff war, we need to act to keep our favourite bike shops open.
Book a spot now for a tune-up, overhaul or total rebuild.
Your 1987 Marinoni or 1970 Motobecane will be the envy of all.

So glad a healthy chunk of my investments are in renewable energy co-operatives under long-term contract. Returns have varied from 2.5 - 5% over the past 12 years, and occasionally a divided is deferred owing to equipment damage and the like, but the sun keeps shining and the wind blowing.

Drove my child to school today because of broken leg.
We both hated it. We both would rather have been on bikes.
Drivers stuck in car-jammed streets hated being there.
Can't wait until we can be on our bikes, helping decongest the city once more.

The best time to stop this slide into a supremacist, authoritarian, misogynist and almost certainly fascist future
would have been January, or February or even March.

Don't be an April Fool! Speak out. Act out.

So true. I like it best paired with a real freedom flag.

How are YOU feeling today?

Sometimes it's best to leave the hard stuff to the pros!
The micro-inverters on our home solar project are warrantied for 20 years, so if a few go down early (12 years), it's not a problem. Thanks Isolara. Top notch as always!

Mayor Wu has me so wanting to support Boston!

How about Canadians stop booing the US anthem when the Bruins play on our side of the border?
It's a BIG ask, I know.
But hey, grudging respect!

Just saying.

Together we are stronger. O Canada / Slava Ukraini!

Yes / Oui
There is a reason why Trump finds Russia easier to deal with. They say whatever he wants to hear, the laugh at him behind his back.
Whereas Ze tells him what he NEEDS to hear and Ukrainians know to be true.

Would this do the trick?

Three symbols for our time:
Solar panel
True North Strong and Free
Slava Ukraini

Hint: They're all connected!
