It's incredibly depressing. If you compare the 2012 EC to the 2024 EC the slippage is remarkable. FL/OH/IA off the map. These slippages make it increasingly hard to see the Dem's getting much beyond 52 seats in the Senate.
It's appealing to think bad things only happen when Democrats let them happen.
But over past 10-15 years, Ds have been losing ground in every part of the country that looks like Iowa (where the electorate is predominantly white voters without a college degree). It's not an Iowa-specific failure.
“I blame the Iowa Democratic Party. We knew what Republicans were: good people, fiscal conservatives, having laissez-faire ideology. The problem is their extremists took over the state and we didn’t stop them,”... Dave Nagle

Mao and Stalin died in their beds. No one stopped them when they were alive.
History is filled with evil people doing evil things.

It ultimately never ends well for them.

Coming soon to New Hampshire as well.
Don't be surprised if this stuff starts happening in Iowa.
NEW: Arizona does not vet new voucher schools. Not even if the school or the online school “provider” has already failed, or was founded yesterday, or is operating out of a strip mall, or offers just a half hour of instruction per morning.

Batshit crazy
Only word for it
Donald Trump chose Tulsi Gabbard, an ex-Democratic lawmaker who backed him, to be the director of national intelligence. She would oversee 18 spy agencies and would be responsible for preparing the President’s Daily Brief. nyti.ms/3O4Pwhg

The State polling error was about average - the biggest miss was in AZ.

My favorite example of this is 1932.Over 3 years into the Great Depression Hoover still got 40% of the vote. Probably 80% of the electorate never changes their vote.
First post here btw.

That should really be it for Twitter.
Inside X/Twitter, employees are trying to contain the damage after Elon Musk responded to an antisemitic tweet and called it "the actual truth." IBM has suspended $1 million in ad spend and workers are worried more could follow. www.nytimes.com/2023/11/16/t...
