Here's the key chart from that piece.

Note what's on here with significant risk: genetic inheritance (twin on autism spectrum, sibling), third trimester stress, and factors that can affect maternal/paternal DNA.

What doesn't carry risk? SSRIs. Sonograms. And vaccination. All very well tested.

Odd, how we can’t afford to give Americans healthcare, but we can afford to drop $200,000,000,000 on Argentina with a moment’s notice.

If China has a Rushmore, Trump's noggin should take up two slots. No one has done more to prop up Xi and this regime.
Yesterday, Scott Bessent announced the US would bail out Javier Milei's Argentina.

Today, China announced a huge soybean purchase from Argentina, extending its replacement of American crops for South American crops.

But the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments are clear: no person shall be “deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.” It doesn’t say “citizen.” It says “person.” The Constitution doesn’t get to be optional.

Stéphane Hessel (1917-2013), former member of the French Resistance during WW2 recommended the following to the new generations: “It's enough to have a solid, active minority. They don't need to be the majority; they just need to be the yeast that makes the dough rise”.

If you think a just-fertilized ovary is entitled to life but are indifferent to what happens to a kidnapped 4-year-old with cancer, sent to a dangerous country without meds, you don’t give a fuck about the lives of children. You are just in a cult that fetishizes being against abortions.

If they can tax Harvard then we can tax the "church based businesses". The first estate is an untapped resource which should be paying down the national debt the Republicans have decided to pin on our children and grandchildren.

I'm already on a spaceship... I don't need to pollute the spaceship I'm already on and leave more for people to clean up after me because I was here. That's a step in the wrong direction.

Maurice Ravel's string quartet is amazing. I am finding out it's a lot of people's favorite string quartet and I can see why. For some reason I associate it with summer with waves like a mirage and things melting in the sun.
