If the code is asking for an exact date it almost has to be Pearl Harbor, right? Surprise attack on a naval base and "date that will live in infamy" is a lot more dramatic than "the Germans still haven't responded to our diplomatic note to withdraw from Poland."

Seems to be the latest trick they've drummed up for trying to prosecute protected speech. As I mentioned elsewhere in the thread, they had one recently in Virginia too for very similar conduct.

I don't read it that way at all. They're saying that all of the adaptations see the doctor as the villain of the piece and what makes them different and interesting is the explanations of why they became the villain. That's absolutely something different creators can spin differently.

Yes, you're entitled to indulge in delusions. We're entitled to mock you for it. No one is upset. We're amused.

Yes, I understood your complaint. I also understood that it demonstrates your inability to read.
"These people" refers to a group of people. In this case, conspiracy theorists who "do their own research." I'm mocking all of you at once, not you individually.

Because obviously von Däniken's work makes no mention of the Annunaki...

When a SENATOR and PHYSICIAN displays the same level of understanding of insurance as a 20-year old Redditor. "I never got in an accident, the insurance company should have to pay me back all my premiums"

No. The pardon absolutely does not do what she's claiming. She's ridiculously poorly framing this.

He's also apparently been going around to various people tweeting about movies and replying "great movie." Oates really got to the man.

That is patently ridiculous. Neither party really, truly wants to kill Social Security retirement benefits. We may never get a consensus on rescuing the trust fund and only be able to pay out reduced benefits, but SSA is never going away.
