Canon CAN be folded in new ways, after all- part of the reason I'm really excited for the First Light game is this bending of canon: they set the game before Bond got his "license to kill", so it feels better. The question is, why can't the next movie do similar? Or even wipe the slate anew? 🤔✨

(I also, real talk, get gleeful at the thought of more Yoji Shinkawa art on Magic cards and a DS Secret Lair set would be a fun way of doing so. That may be a bit selfish, but his artwork is just SO cool~ 😆)

(That's if you can take seeing Troy Baker on a Magic card... or, of course, Norman Reedus on ANOTHER one (the Walking Dead crossover's Daryl was the first time he appeared on a MTG card). But that also does dabble into your mileage with Universes Beyond too and I know well that's case-by-case~)

That's not to say I didn't enjoy the picks WOTC and Sony did- Horizon, Uncharted, Ghost of Tsushima and even TLOU and GoW were great picks! I just think DS would have been fun too, I could imagine some Reanimator-style deck builds of a Sam Porter Bridges. Or heck, Chaos through a Higgs Monaghan~ 🌊

I don't know how you ACE casual fashion so much, like, honestly, every time you draw "Amphibia" characters with casual wears, it's on point~! 🥺✨💗

David Lynch is one I don't think I'll ever really be over, but Rutger, I remember that year when he passed. He was actually going to be a guest at that year's FanExpo in Toronto and when the news broke, it was... quite numbing to say the least.

Exactly where I stand too- I think whenever Disney actually decides to give us new "TRON" media, the fact it even exists in the first place? Is a small miracle in and of itself, regardless of box office/sales/reviews/so on. To think an ongoing series came from an experimental 1982 film, right? ✨

It's insane, 'cuz like, the next major MTG set that's getting tie-in novels of any kind is Secrets of Strixhaven next year, but if it's only for the one set, how the heck is that going to keep relevant? I love the game, but the breakneck speed we go through sets these days is tiring~ 😭✨

I saw the other day they were quick to that and I am wicked hyped to give the 4K treatments a go on Disney+ soon! Plan's to do a film a week before Ares releases~ 👀✨
