Do not sleep on @realgdt.bsky.social's #Frankenstein. Watched it last night with my Dad on Netflix and we're both very pleased: visually impressive, thematically deep and above all, comes together as a poignant gothic masterpiece that sits among the rest of Del Toro's catalogue proudly. Just wow~ ✨
I mentioned MTG in my "promosky" and it made me think of something: recently, there was the PlayStation Superdrop for the TCG and I kept staring at the drops going:

I think the first episode of #TwistedWonderlandTheAnimation is going to ignite that fire I have with that fandom again, I LOVED IT.
So much screentime with the characters, Yuuken is quite endearing already AND they're adapting more material out of the game than the manga?! Be still my heart~ 😭✨💗

Saw #TRONAres today!! Really fun time with the Grid this round, groundbreaking visuals and some pounding sound design, loved the 82/Legacy callbacks! The writing and humor was a bit hit or miss, but I really think the new characters were well done. All in all, made for a new fave of the series! 🏍️💽✨

Bryan Lee O'Malley has revealed on Instagram that Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is officially getting a Blu-Ray! The series will be released on Blu-Ray on December 2nd! I'm very happy to see more stuff from Netflix get released on physical media. More of this please!

You know sometimes you wake up and remember you're an artist and you have stuff to do still sitting there? That's been me since August. Don't worry, I'm definitely working on some new artsy stuff on the pipeline, but I'm also between comms and some outstanding stuff. Slowly but surely!! 🎨✨

Things feel heavy right now. But like Mr. Rogers said, look for the helpers, they’re always there. You’re not alone in this. Sometimes just knowing others see it too, that they’re reaching out, that’s enough to keep going. The good is still there if we look for it. I see plenty of it here.

Saw #TheLongWalk today and... holy cow, what a incredibly visceral film. There's very seldom a work I come out feeling like my heart got ripped out. This is in fact, one of them. In a term I coin as "grace under pressure under decay", Lawrence's take on King's material hits like a truck. 100%. 🏃

Had a second watch of #TheNakedGun last night with my family (first time for them) and I'm still impressed by how Akiva Schaffer just understood this assignment. Really, this is how remakes/legacy sequels SHOULD be approached, with respect to its source and a want to do something fresh~ 💥✨
