Have been taking melatonin to sleep and it sort of works and sort of does not. Odd situation recently with a coworker quitting abruptly that I would like to talk through but am doubtful anyone would have insight. The cat has not been eating enough and was overly friendly last night. Read some book.

I heard back from the pal I was worried about and we made plans to meet up and to read Moby Dick. I started a different book. The laundry machine has been leaking lately. João the inscrutable neighborhood fixture is apparently off Coca Cola for health reasons.

Went to the event and stood in a crowd. Stopped at bookstore on the way home for a new release beach-read but declined to spend 30 bucks on a hardcover, got a couple paperbacks instead. Have been pinging a pal who I haven’t seen in a couple months but no answer; concerned.

Threatening to quit if they don’t get me off management track going good btw!! It’s been 2 mo, def less consumed by anxiety!! Doing a ridic fast-turn project rn and it’s kind of fun?? Maybe I will be ready for the startup life again if this place crashes out??

I threatened to quit until they took me off the management track and now I have a new role. This has taken months to materialize and now it is day 2. As yet unclear whether I am a fool.
