This is just nuts. I lived through 2016. I graduated college in 2016. It was an okay year on a strictly personal level for me. But if you cared about basically anything that makes this country a decent place to live, the one feeling that pervaded absolutely everything you did was creeping dread.

Finished one of the best horror novels I’ve read this year just this morning. Moonflow, by Bitter Karella. The best description I can come up with on the fly is “what if House of 1000 Corpses and Midsommar had a trashy queer baby.” But yeah, this one was really fun. I recommend it. 🎃

Gee, these kids have it rough. Back in my day you could pay for a house making 200 grand a week. But nobody’s been paid anything, anywhere since the 1960s, and now those days are gone. Truly tragic.

I keep seeing this quote attributed to Stephen King. But Stephen King is 77 years old. Video Games didn’t exist until he was in his mid 30s. I doubt they were a going concern to his parents with regard to his moral character.
