MENACE or how game design exists

So, in the game battle brothers, the developers believed that...having permanent consequences and choices matters for the vibes they're going for. But they kept clearly seeing people doing this: Get into a fight, lose a man, go, "Fuck!" and reload the fight.

Don't forget the tremere in this, alongside being unethical immortal they have weird ass philosophy of seeing the world soul as a giant hungry maw to feed souls for enlightenment.
i do love that liches in Mage the Awakening are basically either very fragile or very unethical. You can keep yourself alive forever with a pretty simple spell, but all it takes is one mage to go, "Pff!" and counter-spell that spell, which some might do, some mages are assholes

In the Nibiru TTRPG, you explore a vast, Mesopotamian-inspired space station as one of the Vagabonds; amnesiacs in a search for their lost recollections - hunted for the secrets of their hidden past.
