The President wants to use the military to crack down on Americans who are exercising their 1st Amendment rights to oppose him. I can’t think of a better reason to insist on exercising those rights.

My father served honorably in the Marine Corps for 5 years. We lost him last year. I miss him but I am glad he isn’t here to see the Corp on US streets. In his honor and memory, I will carry the American flag at the No Kings protest today. I know he will be with me. #nokingsprotest #reclaimtheflag

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.
