The side streets are nice though, most have little traffic and some ban cars entirely. More of this please.

Many sidewalks are blocked for construction, either utility work or scaffolding on buildings (of which there is A LOT). Sometimes there's a sign saying to use the bike lane, other times you have to cross a busy street.

Ped signals seem to be an afterthought to car (and bike) movement. Sometimes they come on for only half the stroad because cars going the other direction still have a green.

Crossing distances are long, and the pedestrian signals are short with no countdown. You get stuck on an island in the middle of the street if you're not fast enough.

If that op-ed in @seattlebikeblog.com is any indicator they have learned nothing and don't intend to.

I will also note that it’s one thing to make a throwaway endorsement. Annoying, but maybe not huge.

But it’s certainly A Choice to *buy* 5-figure glossy mailer campaigns - worth 31% of the PAC budget - on behalf of the harassment candidate.

As a top down org, if the board is bad then the org doesn't have much hope. Withholding support is the only way I know of to show them they need new leadership.
