The way @wabikes.bsky.social tries to weasel out of criticism for Harrell's staff directly cancelling bike projects on Lake Washington Boulevard is, frankly, pathetic.
October 23, 2025 at 10:45 PM
This statement shows just how little @wabikes.bsky.social actually cares about their stated mission. The levy that Harrell wanted to send to Council would have been a *cut* to previous levels after adjusting for inflation, with the bike program hit especially hard.

So much better than "Bikes merge with traffic"
October 21, 2025 at 10:11 PM
Bold for @mayorofseattle.bsky.social Bruce Harrell to say, through a spokesperson, that safety is not actually the top priority if there are people who still want to drive fast. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that his own home overlooks this street.

Bruce "I embrace the wealthy," "This is not the time for hope" Harrell is also "the most progressive" compared to Katie Wilson. Apparently.

So is Adiam just trying to get fired or what? No study or public outreach for removing this bus only lane on Union. A study of a bus lane on Denny that didn't include people choosing to take the bus after it's improved. Ignoring the hazards for people on bikes at 4th & Pike and Melrose & Pine...
October 2, 2025 at 1:16 AM
SDOT: We cannot make a bus lane on Denny because it will "blow up the network."
Also SDOT: We will close all but one lane on Stewart and still allow unprotected left turns through a crosswalk to block the entire street.

Could someone at @sound-transit.bsky.social actually do something about the arrival time displays being totally useless at the airport. Shiny new screens but the arrival times on them seem to always omit the next 1-2 trains.
September 26, 2025 at 7:42 PM
Thanks @mayorofseattle.bsky.social Bruce Harrell for making Find It, Fix It even less useful by removing the option to report illegally parked cars. Does anyone even answer the non-emergency number?

Yep, I need a better bike light that's also aimed higher.

Ended up taking 6th to 112th to 4th to Eastrail. 6th was passable but very clearly for pedestrians. I used the north side sidewalk on 4th.
