Orkney Library - since 1683 - how amazing is that?!! 💙
I’ve been searching for Orkney Library on here almost daily ever since I came over.

(One of the joys of my feed in the other place).

Welcome to 🦋 @orkneylibrary.bsky.social
For anyone that doesn't know us, we are Orkney Library & Archive and we've been supplying books to the people of #Orkney since 1683 which makes us one of the oldest libraries in Scotland. We also have a Mobile Library called #BookyMcBookface and we have some REALLY big balls.

Nice to meet you. 👋

Caught up with this one today. @dranniegray.bsky.social @vickypayne.bsky.social on fine form, combining interesting little gems with pointers to deeper research. Omnicrisis and opportunity, but substantial failure rates a worry to be addressed central / local govt.

Hello bluesky friends!

After much prevaricating I have started the process of leaving Twitter, because of what Musk is saying, doing and not doing on and about the platform. I tried moving to Mastodon last year, but that was too geeky to work for me.
