It may just be semantics, but there is something very satisfying about finishing some grocery shopping and being able to say "I now have enough food to last the rest of the year."

I think, in the long run, the social media ban for kids will be a good thing - It'll be good for kids to get into the habit of lying about who they are every time they go online.

Being a vampire would make some things easier; don't have to think about what to have for dinner, just always have blood.
But then you'd have to go out and get the blood every night instead of doing a big grocery shop every week. So I guess it evens out.

Strange New Worlds thinks Ley Lines are real. It kind of sums up my issues with the show that not only does it endorse pseudoscience, even its use of pseudoscience feels like the writers aren't aware of anything newer than the 1970s at the latest.

I find it very annoying that Marvel Rivals has missions that require you to do damage as a 'mutant' without having anywhere to see who qualifies as such.
Given that the game has Squirrel Girl, Scarlet Witch, and Cloak and Dagger, all of whom have gone back and forth, it's not that clear-cut...

Calculating my household budget, and I worked out the cat's meals cost more on average than my own. And I wouldn't complain, except they insist on trying anything I eat too, so a good quarter of my food is going to them too.

It's ridiculous we expect people to pick names for babies as soon as they're born. It took me three weeks to work out what sort of names would suit my cats, and they're creatures who already exhibit personalities! We shouldn't be naming children until at least they can walk.
