We had “Peaks parties” when the first season eps originally came out. They were events, held in rotation at each of our houses.
I was lucky enough to watch #TwinPeaks in the order it came out but for many, the first two seasons were hard to come by so #FireWalkWithMe was their introduction.

Not until the show hit Netflix and released on DVD did it take off again.

Watched it when it first aired in the UK on the BBC in 1990. I was 15. My parent’s weren’t interested so I was relegated to watching it on the tiny portable TV in the dining room. Loved every weird second of it.

The European pilot was released in the UK before the show broadcast in the US. I remember being a little confused when the series pilot aired over here.

I went on to publish around 20 issues of a TP fanzine and contributed to WIP over the years.

What are your favorite scene(s) in #TwinPeaks?

It could be the most epic of set pieces or the smallest of moments.

(I know the temptation is to say everything but let’s try to share the details that make us fall in love with the show each time we watch it.)

I happened to randomly watch this clip on my feed one day a few years back. The music really touched & intrigued me, so haunting & beautiful. And I thought - if the writer/director is so invested with the music like this I MUST watch. It's now my fav show of all time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-eq...

I watched Mulholland Drive, which was fucking incredible. Went to see what other David Lynch stuff was on Comcast on demand, this was back in the day when I would just watch anything that was free on demand. They had FWWM, and I watched it even though I hadn't seen the series LOL

I got into movies around 11 when I watched Wild at Heart, with no idea who Lynch was. Four years later I watched Mulholland Drive, looked him up, and realized he was the guy who made Wild at Heart. I started tracking down his work and torrented the first season of Peaks as the DVD was out of print.

In the 90s, Bravo had a block of shows they labeled "TV Too Good For TV" which is where I caught reruns of Twin Peaks, and The Prisoner. Changed my life.

I was 16 when I watched it on TV in 1991, in France it was “Mystères à Twin Peaks”. I was immediately hooked and couldn’t wait the next Monday to be at school to talk about it with my friend who was also watching it!

I was too young for the first run on German TV in 1991 (including the spoiling of the whosdunnit by a rival TV Station). The Spoiler Scandal made me aware of the show.
My first watch of S1 & S2 were the reruns on German TV in late summer of 1995.
I taped the entire show and re-watched it a lot.

My family didn't have TV so I saw the odd episode elsewhere and then a friend had an all-nighter but I couldn't take it all in. Seeing Fire Walk With Me finally got me hooked though.

A coworker at one of my first jobs as an adult said I remind them of a "Twin Peaks character." I had to hunt it down and figure out if it was a compliment. I consider it as one.

As a kid, I watched bits and pieces of the original run, but obviously it went over my head. Then watched most of it via Bravo (syndication) with David Lynch directed Log Lady intros, and again as an adult with Netflix. It's my favorite series.

I had a friend who was in the SCA who invited me to a party that some of their SCA friends were having. Everything stopped when someone called out “It’s time for Twin Peaks!” and everyone crowded into the den to watch it. I was instantly hooked. Been a fan ever since.
