Watched Twin Peaks when it originally aired. Was mesmerized by it. Then, got to share it with my son, who had heard of it in a YouTube video and wanted to check it out. He then became a Lynch fan.

There were still plenty of great episodes, the film and Season 3; not to mention the books.

Hard disagree considering the second half completely sets up FWWM and Season 3.

And yet this episode is one of the best things David Lynch ever made.
It may have been forced but Frost and Lynch found the exact right moment to show it to us.
Perhaps if ABC had allowed for Leland to be on the run or to explore Ronette for a bit afterwards, Season 2 would not have felt so split.
