Amy Poehler is rightly getting props for her handling of Aubrey Plaza's first interview since her husband's suicide. Fair praise. Also a reminder that many survivors don't get star treatment, no matter their trauma. Here's to Poehler and journalists who let survivors tell their story on their terms.

Incredibly proud of the videos we released today from Survivors Say. Thanks to our survivor families for participating and to Kathy Curran & her team for the great work. Hope everyone can take a look and help us spread the word. @survivors-say.bsky.social
We spend our days helping others tell their stories, but we finally took a big step toward telling our own.

With former TV journalist Kathy Curran and her partners Ray Fuschetti and Vince Henry, we created three videos that capture the heart of our mission – through tears, laughter, and memories.

Proud to call Kate a friend. She's a force of nature, a powerful advocate and an incredible storyteller. Check out her book, buy two and help her do more of this vital work.
For over a decade, Kate Price has bravely shared her story of trafficking and abuse. Yesterday, we were honored to celebrate the launch of her powerful new memoir: This Happened to Me. "a remarkable testament to survival and resilience." Her courage lights the way for other survivors.

There's little courage greater than speaking truth to power, particularly on an international stage when reliving your own trauma. We're grateful to be standing with Jessica in New York this week and for her trust in Survivors Say to help tell her story. @survivors-say.bsky.social
We are honored to stand with and support Jessica Mann as she seeks justice for herself and every woman impacted by Harvey Weinstein’s abuse. Jessica and the other brave survivors continue to inspire us all with their bravery and resilience.

So deeply grateful to be able to help S start to tell his story and for our team doing amazing things with @survivors-say.bsky.social
Today, S began to tell his story by making his first public comment since being rescued from his Waterbury, CT home, where police say he was held captive and abused for 20 years.

We are honored to support S as he reclaims his name, voice and future.
