I think mine is a little newer than yours. Only single deck, but it does have Dolby S and it still works great, although I have had to replace the belts and a couple of capacitors.

I happened to have a spare Mac so now I can archive Computer Chronicles tapes even faster with my new Dedicated Digitization Station.

I get my news mostly from the radio. Trumps comments about the death of the pope sounded reasonable, if delivered in his usual unprofessional style, but hearing it on the radio hid the fact that he was standing on the White House balcony next to person wearing a giant easter bunny costume. WTF.

The LA fires are awful. From up here in the bay area we've been streaming ABC7 on YouTube to see what's happening.
...and I just want to say how amazing ABC7 is. Their helicopter camera can overlay street names on the image, in real time. Wherever the camera points, the street names line up.
