Rewatching the LotR trilogy while I work. I like the new layers you add with time, as you notice stuff.
For instance, it pretty much seems like Gandalf keeps a nice little apartment in Minas Tirith for when he goes to check the library, or gaze upon the foul clouds out of the Mordor plains.

Looking for the Skylanders cover to put in that minithread just now, I came across this: a triple double-cover spread for Skylanders that was just NUTS. It ended up serving as a poster or a standup ad or something. Sadly, I cannot find the color by David García.

Totalmente. En mi sector se dice que ya no hay encargos por culpa de la AI pero uno va a mirar y, salvo cuatro cosas, todo sigue ilustrado y diseñado por creativos profesionales a los que no se les han actualizado las tarifas en al menos diez años.

Totalmente. En mi sector se dice que ya no hay encargos por culpa de la AI pero uno va a mirar y, salvo cuatro cosas, todo sigue ilustrado y diseñado por creativos profesionales a los que no se les han actualizado las tarifas en al menos diez años.
Esto que estas haciendo una portada, te dices que vas a hacer una guía muy ligerita de color/textura porque no lo ves con línea, te emocionas, y sabes que vas a acabar pidiendo disculpas a la colorista por pasarte tres pueblos.

Apparently, Craig's death in No Time to Die is a problem because the audience cannot possibly understand that a guy that was supposedly born in 1920 and has had six different faces (seven, if you count David Niven) is just being told again. Just, y'know, NOW.

Comics are like chess. There are a lot of moving parts w/deceptively simple rules that need to mesh w/o visible seams for everything to come together properly.

Mira que ocurre prácticamente a diario. Pero lo de trabajar en un medio en el que literalmente un milímetro y medio de finísima linea de tinta te cambia hectáreas enteras de matices emocionales en la cara de un personaje no deja de apabullarme.

Currando con un podcast sobre la producción de Last of the Mohicans de Michael Mann me he acordado de mi Proyecto Absolutamente Imposible : una peli crossover de Tarzan, La Sombra y Sherlock Holmes, los tres interpretados por el Daniel Day Lewis de 1995.
