I mean, if you ask me, "James Bond" is the Best British Spy. They just regenarate into the next guy (or f*ck it, gal) using the trigger phrase to download All Previous Bonds into the new one. Dying Bond says "Your name is Bond. James Bond".

New Bond says "My name is Bond. James Bond". And they are.
