Flame In Hand posters in chronological order #3: Thatcher On Acid, Joyce McKinney Experience, Active Minds - Leeds Duchess, Tuesday 19th July 1988. Thatcher On Acid had to cancel, so Crow People stepped in. We know we had #3 yesterday, but that should have been #4. Three days & we fucked up already.

We went to Blackburn for a football match, had no idea how to get to the ground from the station, so followed two people in Blackburn scarves who ‘looked like they knew where they were going’. They took us right around the town and into the McDonalds at the point where we’d started from.

We can play football with a nation engaged in genocide. But we can't play football against trans people who have done nothing wrong. The Football Association is a disgrace.
1/ Today on the 1st day of pride month and the day before Emily’s birthday the FA ban on trans women in football starts.
This ban has broken my daughter in a way I didn’t think she could break. The pain and sorrow she felt at the end of her last game was soul destroying to witness.

This is what we’re working on currently on Crackle Records.
Been sent this original poster to use in the retrospectic Crow People LP/CD we’re planning. Currently working on old unreleased studio recordings. Crow People were a marvellous band hailing from Doncaster in the late 80s that never got the recognition their music deserved. More news as we have it.

Leeds’ Nervous Twitch playing one of their three chords on stage in York last night. Much better than a dull AOR-inspired Darling Buds.

I know we loved Chopper and they were our first release, but sticking two fingers up to Crass nearly blew it for them …

It’s five years since Robbie Keane’s little lad decided to bin off mascot duty… and grab the glory instead.

The celebration lasts a full 17 seconds. Sensational stuff.
