It's almost like you need a large pool of money that isn't always divided up by every person so you can pay for someone who needs a lot and not pay someone who doesn't need anything that year

On Friday I had a meeting where it just was so obvious how underesourced my campus is and how we're just expected to take it. I'm just done pretending that's ok and I'm done with people who think higher ed doesn't matter

Like I'm trying to get 48 kids who are all extremely and directly impacted by everything happening over this finish line and then I'll do it again immediately. And then in the spring it will be 108 kids. And I have to write a book and do the other 66% of my job (lol)

Izzy helped Ed turn his hobby into a business and now Ed hates it, meanwhile Stede has decided to also quit his job and start this same hobby business. Construction contractors Ed and Izzy (with demolition master Jack) fighting with architect Stede

I love this too and it works in so many ways. Small veg farm EdIzzy has to now compete with Stede buying a plot next door and bringing all his crew. Spousal hire Izzy has become the dept chair as Ed burns out and Stede shows up as their new uni admin
